| CWA Holiday Social Benefits Marine Corp Toys for Tots Posted: 30 Nov 2012 01:37 PM PST Hundreds of toys were collected for the Marine Corps Toys for Tots campaign at the Carolina Wireless Association's Holiday Social on November 27. Members of the Marine Corps were on hand to accept the toys.  CWA Members Supported the Corps LBA Group's Chief Technical Officer, Dr. Chris Horne, P.E. and Business Development Specialist David Horn joined other members of the CWA for the seasonal gathering at the N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences in Raleigh. The museum is the largest of its kind in the Southeast and provided a dazzling backdrop for the event.  LED Light Ribbon Display NC-Based CREE, Inc. Attendees enjoyed browsing an array of permanent and special exhibits in the brand new 80,000 sq ft Nature Research Center, including a skeleton of a right whale, the inner workings of a Chevy Volt, the technology behind modern LED lighting, and a remote studio for Public Radio, WUNC-FM.  LBA Group's David Horn Outside the WUNC Studio Nearly 200 people attended the event. American Tower, Crown Castle, SBA, WesTower and many other players in the wireless industry were represented. Members of the New Jersey Wireless Association and the Georgia Wireless Association also attend the Holiday gathering. The Carolinas Wireless Association is an organization of professionals in North and South Carolina who provide infrastructure services to the wireless and cellular industries. LBA CEO Lawrence Behr and VP of Sales Mike Britner were among the organizers of CWA. Since 1963, LBA has been providing RF equipment, safety training, and engineering consulting services for the wireless communications and broadcasting sectors, worldwide.
