Chris Horne Takes T-squared Wireless Message to Minnesota Posted: 25 Apr 2012 06:53 AM PDT Chris Horne, the Chief Technical Officer of LBA Group Inc., takes his expertise on the road to Minnesota in May as one of two featured speakers on wireless trends. The May 17 event is the "Spring Lunch and Learn" meeting of the Minnesota State Wireless Association in Eden Prairie, on the western edge of Minneapolis. Association members are invited to hear from Horne and Liz Hill, who is director of state and local affairs for American Tower Corporation (ATC). Wireless Trends and Technology (T squared) will be the general topic of discussion. Horne was invited to speak after he helped an upper Midwest client and association member win approval for a cell tower. Hill is an executive with ATC, which is one of the largest providers of tower space to the wireless industry. Horne is a regular participant in wireless industry panel discussions. A registered professional engineer with a doctorate in electrical engineering, he has spoken in the last year at 4G wireless conferences in Chicago and Miami. The Minnesota State Wireless Association is a nonprofit professional organization offering a unified message in local issues. It strives to provide general awareness of the wireless industry and educates customers and public officials about the wireless industry in Minnesota. Expected to attend the May event are tower professionals, engineers, executive administrators, and industry attorneys.
